![]() ![]() I installed a shift kit to band-aid the problem, but later decided I still wanted the problem to be fixed. The original problem is that shifts would become too slow once it reached full operating temperature, and that would set max adapt mode where full line pressure was commanded, causing very harsh/bang shifts. I also used new Valvoline Dex III/Merc fluid. I replaced my Pressure Control Solenoid (PCS or EPC), TCC Solenoid, and 4th clutch hub. That way I knew exactly what I was doing for a video. I decided to record my progress once I had everything off of the transmission that needed to come off. Annotations are not displayed on mobile devices.
